WEBVERSE – A Team-Based Website Creation Challenge

The Association of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science (ASICS), in association with the Departments of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AIML), organized “WEBVERSE – A Team-Based Website Creation Challenge” on 16th September 2026 at 3:00 PM in the 1st Floor DBMS Laboratory. The event was organized with the objective of providing students with a platform to demonstrate their creativity, technical proficiency, web development skills, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork. The challenge encouraged participants to collaboratively design and develop innovative, interactive, and functional websites by applying their practical knowledge of web technologies.

The event was coordinated by Prof. Reshma B and Prof. Shana Santhosh, ASICS Coordinators, and Prof. Kshithi B, Event Coordinator, with active support from student coordinators Lisha N Shetty and Kashmeera K, who assisted in the planning, coordination, and smooth conduct of the event. Prof. Shreya Shetty served as the judge for the event and evaluated the websites developed by the participating teams based on their creativity, technical implementation, design, functionality, and overall presentation. The programme was conducted under the guidance and support of Dr. Shrisha H S, HOD, CSE; Prof. Daya Naik, HOD, AIML; and Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal. The event served as a valuable experiential learning initiative, enabling students to strengthen their technical, creative, collaborative, and problem-solving competencies through hands-on website development. The successful conduct of WEBVERSE contributed to the technical and professional development of students and promoted a culture of innovation and practical learning through the Association of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science (ASICS).
