Speech with Impact

On September 23, 2025 under the Institute’s Innovation Cell, and the Association of Information Science and Engineering (AISE), the Department of ISE and Association of Computer Science and Design (ACODE), the Department of CSD and Echo club organized a event titled “Speech with Impact”.

The session was organized by the ECHO CLUB, with Mr. Ujwal as the guest speaker. He shared valuable insights on how to overcome stage fear, improve voice modulation, and present thoughts in a structured and impactful manner. His engaging style kept the students motivated and encouraged them to actively participate.

The aim of an event is usually to help participants build strong communication, presentation, and public speaking skills so that their words leave a lasting impression on the audience. To develop confidence in speaking before an audience. To enhance clarity, articulation, and voice modulation while communicating. To teach how to engage, persuade, and inspire listeners effectively. To overcome stage fear and nervousness. To improve body language, gestures, and eye contact for impactful delivery. To encourage participants to structure thoughts and present ideas clearly. To promote leadership and personality development through communication. Overall, Speech with Impact was an engaging and insightful to empower individuals to communicate their ideas with confidence, clarity, and influence, so their words can create a positive impact.”

The event was supported by Prof. Sudarshan K., Head of the Department (HOD), ISE and CSD. It was conducted by Prajwal, Ishwarya, Sanvi shetty and Varshini from the 5th semester CSD and ISE. The event was coordinated by Ms. Aparna N under the guidance of Prof. Sowmya and Prof. Archana D, Staff Advisor of AISE and ACODE. Their teamwork and dedication ensured the smooth execution of the contest.

Students appreciated the comprehensive session, mentioning that it helped them understand the fundamentals of public speaking and build self-confidence. The combination of theory and practice allowed students to experience immediate improvement. Many students reported feeling more prepared to speak in front of audiences and were inspired to continue developing their communication skills.
