The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Srinivas Institute of Technology, in association with STEADY and IIC, organized an Outreach Program on “Innovation in Electronics” at GPUG High School, Siddakatte, Bantwal, on 25/02/2026 at 11:00 A.M. The session was conducted by Prof. Sathish Kumar K and Prof. Aishwarya, along with ECE students Safwan, Mohith, and Pranjan.

The program began with an introduction highlighting the importance of innovation in electronics. Demonstrations of projects such as an RC Car, Smart City Model, LED Segment Display, and Mobile-Based Light Control were presented, explaining their working principles and real-time applications.

The objective of the Outreach Program on “Innovation in Electronics” was to create awareness among school students about the basics and emerging trends in electronics through practical demonstrations, and to inspire them to develop an interest in innovation and pursue higher education in engineering.

More than 100 students actively participated in the interactive session, gaining hands-on exposure to electronic models and emerging technologies. The outreach program successfully created awareness about electronics, enhanced students’ understanding of practical applications, and motivated them to pursue engineering education, reinforcing the institute’s commitment to community engagement and technical awareness.
