HackMatrix – 14 Hours Fun and Coding Marathon
The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS), in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and Nexus SIT, organized “HackMatrix – 14 Hours Fun and Coding Marathon” on 2nd and 3rd March at SSOSC Lab.
The hackathon was conducted under the guidance of the Principal and the Head of the Department. A total of 40 teams actively participated in the event, showcasing enthusiasm and competitive spirit throughout the marathon.
Participants were given a problem statement and challenged to develop innovative solutions within the 14-hour time frame. The event focused on creativity, technical skills, and practical implementation of ideas.
After the initial evaluation round, 15 teams were shortlisted for the second phase based on their performance and innovation. In the final round, projects were evaluated by the judges, and First and Second positions were awarded to the best-performing teams.
The judges ensured a fair and structured evaluation process. The hackathon encouraged teamwork, problem-solving, and rapid prototyping skills among students.
HackMatrix concluded as a grand success, providing students with a competitive platform to showcase their technical expertise and innovative thinking.
