Techno Vision: Creative Science Model Challenge

The Techno vision: Creative Science Model Challenge for PUC Students, an innovative initiative to foster creativity and scientific thinking, was successfully held on October 31, 2025, from 10.30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Physics Lab, Srinivas Institute of Technology. Each team promptly demonstrated their working models, highlighting significant themes such as the importance of Science and Environmentally Sustainable Solutions, and submitted a detailed hard copy project report covering the objective, methodology, materials used, and expected applications. Models were evaluated by Prof. Mohamed Gowspeer (Dept. Of Mechanical Engineering) and Prof. Sahana G K (Dept. Of Physics) based on Creativity and Innovation, Practical Applicability, Presentation and Explanation, and Teamwork and Coordination. The competition concluded with a prize distribution ceremony at 5:00 P.M.The first prize was awarded to Arun Kumar V and Chinmaya (Govt. PU College, Kombettu), the second prize to Raghavendra Bhat and Shreekanth Udupa L (Viveka PU College), and the third prize was shared by Hamshini Bhide and Dhruva R Shetty (S.D.M PU College, Ujire), Sayyed Ayaan and Sayyed Aleem Ashfaq (Christ King PU College), and Amrut Ravindra Uppar and Veer Ratkal (Expert PU College, Valachil). The event achieved its objective of showcasing young talent and innovation, with all participants receiving certificates to recognize their dedication.

The success of this session was made possible due to the continuous support and encouragement of Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal of Srinivas Institute of Technology, whose vision promotes a culture of innovation and lifelong learning. Dr. Praveen Shenoy, IIC Coordinator, played a significant role in conducting the event under Institution’s Innovation Council.The event was organized by the First Semester SU-C Section students under the supervision of Staff Coordinators Prof. Dr. B S Dayananda (Dept. Of Chemistry) and Prof. Sowmya (Dept. Of Information Science and Engineering), and led by overall Coordinator Prof. Rakesh Mallya.
