Communication Skills for Engineers

Event Date: November 11, 2025 | Uploaded: January 08, 2026 | By: SIT Admin

The session began with a warm welcome speech delivered by Saiksha, followed by an engaging introduction to the topic presented by Shaima. Shreehari, as the Master of Ceremony (MC), smoothly anchored the program, ensuring seamless transitions. The resource person, Mrs. Rashmi, then took the stage to deliver the core content. Key points covered included barriers to self-expression, strategies to create a lasting impression, and practical communication techniques such as greeting before speaking, clear self-introduction, smiling, respectful tone modulation, and overcoming fear of judgment during presentations. The main emphasis was on motivating students to step forward without hesitation. The resource person encouraged participation by asking students to raise hands to check enthusiasm levels. Initially, responses were muted, but as the session progressed—especially during the activity and open discussion—students became more responsive and visibly enjoyed the interactive format. Sneha concluded the program with a heartfelt vote of thanks.
