The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Srinivas Institute of Tech-nology, in association with IIC and EDP Cell, organized an Outreach Program on “Innova-tion in Electronics” at Government High School, Bettampady, Puttur on 31st August 2026. The session was conducted by Prof. Sathish Kumar K and along with four ECE students, Safwan, Ashwin, Nishith and Gajanan. The program began with an introduction by Prof. Sathish Kumar K, who briefed the students about the purpose of the outreach activity and the importance of innovation in the field of electronics.

Various projects such as Automatic Street Solar Light Control, Wi-Fi Enabled LED Matrix Display Board, Quiz Buzzer, and Obstacle Following Robot Electronic Gaming Model were demonstrated, explaining their working principles and practical applications.

The demonstrations provided the school students with an opportunity to understand how electronic concepts can be transformed into innovative and useful real-world applications. The interactive session encouraged the students to develop curiosity, creativity, and interest in electronics and emerging technologies. The program concluded with an engaging interac-tion between the students and the resource persons, inspiring them to explore innovation and hands-on learning in the field of electronics.
