Faculty Orientation on Srinivas University Academic Regulations and Scheme of Teaching – 2026
On 25th August 2026, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Srinivas Institute of Technology, organized a Faculty Orientation on Srinivas University Academic Regulations and Scheme of Teaching – 2026 at the Seminar Hall from 3:00 PM onwards. The programme was organized to familiarize faculty members with the revised academic regulations, scheme of teaching, assessment procedures, and other important academic practices.
The session was delivered by Prof. Aravind Naik, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, who provided detailed insights into the various academic regulations and teaching practices under the new scheme. The orientation aimed to help faculty members gain a clear understanding of the academic framework and ensure its effective implementation.
During the session, the resource person discussed various important topics including Core Subjects, Basket Subjects, First Year Elective Subjects, IDT, Types of Credit Subjects, MNC, IA and Other Assessments, Lab Part and Lab Examination, Theory Examination, Question Bank, Semester End Examination, SEE Question Paper Pattern, Valuation Portal, B-Form Entry, and Daily Attendance Entry Portal.
The orientation provided faculty members with clarity regarding internal assessments, laboratory and theory examinations, question paper preparation, valuation procedures, attendance entry, and other academic requirements. The session also helped faculty members understand the various categories of subjects and the procedures to be followed under the new academic regulations.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, IQAC Chairman and Principal, with the support of Prof. Nagaraja Hebbar, IQAC Coordinator. The event was efficiently coordinated by Prof. Sahana Bandekar and Prof. Bhagyashree M, Event Coordinators.
