Innovation to Acceleration: Exploring Incubation Opportunities
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), ASCEE and ASICS, organized a session on “Innovation to Acceleration: Exploring Incubation Opportunities” on 22nd August 2026.
The session was delivered by Dr. Glenson Toney, Assistant Dean, School of Engineering, St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University). The resource person provided valuable insights into innovation, incubation opportunities, and the importance of nurturing innovative ideas and transforming them into viable ventures. The session helped participants gain a better understanding of the innovation ecosystem and the various opportunities available for aspiring innovators and entrepreneurs.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal, and Dr. Shrisha H. S., Head of the Department, CSE. Dr. Praveen Shenoy, IIC Coordinator, along with the department coordinators Prof. Harishma K. V. and Prof. Reshma B., contributed to the successful organization of the session.
The programme provided an informative and inspiring platform for students to explore the possibilities of innovation and incubation and encouraged them to develop creative ideas and pursue entrepreneurial opportunities.
