Mangaluru, August 15, 2026: Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour, bringing together faculty members, staff, and students to commemorate the spirit of freedom, unity, and national pride.

As part of the celebrations, Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal, Srinivas Institute of Technology, and Dr. Ramakrishna Shabaraya A, Principal, Srinivas College of Pharmacy, Valachil, jointly hosted the National Flag. The ceremony witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, staff, and students, who gathered to honour the nation and commemorate the sacrifices of the freedom fighters.

The celebration reflected the values of patriotism, unity, discipline, and responsibility, providing an opportunity for the campus community to reaffirm its commitment to the nation and to the development of responsible and socially conscious citizens.

The event was well coordinated by Dr. Ananth Kulkarni, Student Welfare Officer, and Mr. Pranam, Physical Director, whose efforts contributed to the smooth and successful conduct of the Independence Day programme.
