The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru, through the All Student Mechanical Association (ASMA), in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Incubation and Startup Cell, and Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) Cell, organized an informative session titled “Turn Ideas into Investments with Gamma AI” on 12 August 2026 at 3:30 PM at M101.

The session was conducted with the objective of introducing students to the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in transforming innovative ideas into structured and investment-ready concepts. The programme focused on creating awareness among students about leveraging AI for idea development, presentation, business planning, and entrepreneurial initiatives.

Mr. Sudheendra H. N., Assistant Professor, served as the resource person for the session. He provided valuable insights into the practical applications of Gamma AI and explained how AI-powered tools can assist aspiring entrepreneurs in developing and presenting their ideas effectively. The session also encouraged students to explore innovative solutions and consider entrepreneurship as a viable career pathway.

The programme provided an interactive learning platform for students to understand the role of emerging AI technologies in innovation, startup development, investment pitching, and entrepreneurship. The session motivated participants to think creatively and utilize modern digital tools to give a professional shape to their ideas.

The event was coordinated by Dr. Raghavendra M J, IIC-IA, Prof. Sandesh K S, Staff Coordinator and Prof. SathyaPrakash A, Coordinator, under the guidance of Dr. Shankar K S, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Praveen Shenoy, IIC Coordinator, and Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangalore.
