On August 11, 2026, the 7th-semester B.Arch. cohort of Srinivas School of Architecture undertook an insightful architectural field study at the WrkWrk Premium Coworking Facility in Kottara Chowki, Mangalore. A group of 15 students attended the site visit, accompanied by faculty members Ar. Colin Pinto, Ar. Andrea Pinto, and Ar. Leslie Dias.

The visit offered an immersive exploration of modern IT office infrastructure and collaborative workplace environments. WrkWrk team members Mr. Lovejoy Pinto and Mr. Taufiq conducted a comprehensive guided tour across the facility's diverse floor plans. They detailed the functional zoning, spatial planning, and interior finishes that define high-performance coworking spaces while addressing technical queries regarding HVAC systems, lighting integration, and building services. The session culminated in an engaging interactive exchange with Facility Manager Mr. Vivek Bhat, who provided key operational insights into facility management and user-centric design.

By bridging theoretical knowledge with field practice, this study tour provided students with vital real-world exposure to contemporary office design, acoustic treatment, service layout, and adaptive spatial planning—equipping them with practical perspectives for their upcoming design studio projects.
