A session on "AI-Powered Fund Raising and Pitch Preparation" was organized on 07 August 2026 by the Departments of Computer Science and Design (CSD) and Information Science and Engineering (ISE) in association with the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) and IEEE -SB at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru.

The session aimed to equip students with the knowledge and practical strategies required to transform innovative ideas into successful startup ventures through effective fundraising and impactful pitching. Participants were introduced to the role of Artificial Intelligence in developing business proposals, refining pitch decks, conducting market research, identifying potential investors, and improving presentation skills. The resource person demonstrated how modern AI tools can assist entrepreneurs in creating compelling investor presentations, validating business ideas, and enhancing decision-making throughout the fundraising process.

Students actively participated in interactive discussions and hands-on activities that focused on startup ideation, business model development, value proposition design, and investor communication. The session also emphasized the importance of storytelling, confidence, and structured pitching while presenting innovative solutions to potential investors. The program inspired students to explore entrepreneurship, innovation, and AI-driven business development while strengthening their problem-solving and communication skills.
