The seventh-semester B.Arch. students of Srinivas School of Architecture (SSA) visited Empire Mall, Mangalore, on 4 August 2026 as part of an academic case study. Thirteen students, accompanied by faculty members Ar. Leslie J. Dias and Ar. Andrea A. Pinto, participated in the visit.

Students studied the structural layout of the basement parking area, the organization of retail spaces, service cores, and essential building services. They also visited the offices of Mohtisham Builders and Dharamraj Associates, where they interacted with senior architects, Ar. Rajeshwari and Ar. Archana P. and gained valuable insights into professional practice.

The visit provided students with practical exposure to the planning, design, and management of mixed-use commercial developments and strengthened the connection between classroom learning and professional experience.
