The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), in association with the YUKTI Cell, EDP cell and the Institution’s Innovation Council, organized “Intra‑Institution Innovation Competition in Electronics and Communication” on 5th December 2025. The event aimed to inspire students to apply their technical knowledge and creativity to develop innovative solutions addressing real‑world challenges in the field of Electronics and Communication. The competition encouraged participants to present their ideas, prototypes, and technological concepts that integrated embedded systems, communication technologies, IoT solutions, VLSI concepts, and AI/ML applications. Students were invited to propose innovations covering areas such as healthcare, agriculture, automation, defense, sustainability, and smart city development.

A total of 14 teams took part in the competition. Each team consisted of 2 to 4 members and presented a structured prototype including a problem statement, technical methodology, electronic components involved, algorithms or AI techniques used, and the expected societal or industrial impact. The event showcased impressive innovations ranging from intelligent monitoring systems, automated embedded solutions, energy‑efficient designs, and AI‑based detection systems to projects addressing environmental and social issues. The competition succeeded in promoting hands‑on learning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and strong technical engagement among the participants.

The event concluded with an award ceremony where the best three teams were selected for prizes based on innovation, technical feasibility, presentation quality, and overall impact.
