🎓 Induction Program – Day 8: Inner Strength, Well-being & Digital Learning
The eighth day of the Induction Program was conducted on 10th September 2026 for the newly admitted first-year students. Similar to the previous day's, the sessions were organized in three different slots for Groups 1, 2, and 3 with the objective of Inner Strength & Emotional well being, Counselling, Educational outreach activity by casio calculator, Society & Gratitude: Building, Digital Tools.
The first session was conducted from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Groups 1 and 3 attended a session on “Inner Strength & Emotional Well-being” conducted by Brahma Kumari in the Seminar Hall. The session focused on the importance of inner peace, emotional balance, self-awareness, and positive thinking in students’ lives. Students were encouraged to develop a strong and balanced mindset to face academic and personal challenges with confidence and positivity.
During the same session, Group 2 attended a session on “Society & Gratitude: Building Responsible Engineers” conducted by Mr. Mithun Raj in the Auditorium. The session emphasized the importance of social responsibility, gratitude, ethical values, and empathy in the life of an engineer. Students were encouraged to understand their role in society and to develop a responsible and compassionate approach towards their profession and the community.
From 11:15 AM to 12:45 PM, Groups 1 and 3 participated in a counselling session conducted by Vinatha K. in the Seminar Hall. The session provided students with guidance and support to understand themselves better and to approach their academic journey with confidence. The importance of emotional well-being, effective decision-making, positive thinking, and seeking guidance when required was highlighted during the session.
During the same time, Group 2 attended a session on “Digital Tools” conducted by M. Sathya Prakash in the Auditorium. The session introduced students to the importance and effective use of digital tools in education and professional life. Students were made aware of various technological resources that can support learning, communication, collaboration, and skill development. The session encouraged them to make productive use of digital platforms in their academic journey.
In the afternoon session from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, all the three groups participated in an Educational Outreach Activity conducted by the Casio Calculator Representative in the Auditorium. The session introduced students to the effective use of scientific calculators and their applications in academic learning and problem-solving. Students gained practical awareness of the various functions and features of Casio calculators, which can assist them in solving mathematical and scientific problems efficiently.
The day concluded with students gaining valuable exposure to emotional well-being, social responsibility, personal guidance, digital learning, and practical academic tools. The sessions contributed to the overall development of the students and helped them build a positive foundation for their academic journey and future professional life.
