Project Presentation and Mentor Connect

The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS) and the Department of Master of Business Administration (MBA), Srinivas Institute of Technology, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and Yukti Cell, organized “Project Presentation & Mentor Connect” from 29 July to 05 August 2026.

The event was organized to provide students with a platform to showcase their innovative projects, receive expert feedback, interact with mentors, and enhance their project ideas. Students from different disciplines presented projects addressing real-world challenges across areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Smart Systems, Sustainable Agriculture, Quality Assessment, and Automotive Safety.

The projects presented included:

• AI-Driven Optimization of Biochar-Enriched Soil for Enhanced Carbon Sequestration and Sustainable Crop Yield

• Hybrid Smart Metering System

• Experimental Analysis of Physicochemical Properties in Pure and Commercial Edible Oils for Quality Assessment

• Smart Vehicle Collision Detection and Warning System etc.

During the presentations, students explained their problem statements, proposed solutions, methodologies, and expected outcomes. The Mentor Connect sessions provided an opportunity for students to receive valuable suggestions on technical feasibility, innovation, practical implementation, and further development of their projects.

The event encouraged innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial thinking among the students. The feedback and mentoring sessions helped participants identify areas for improvement and refine their ideas towards practical and impactful solutions.

Overall, “Project Presentation & Mentor Connect” served as a valuable platform for students to showcase their innovative ideas, gain expert insights, and strengthen their projects for further development and implementation.
