The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, in association with the Training and Placement Department, organized a visit to the Study Abroad Expo held at the IDP Office, Mangaluru, on 10th September 2026.

More than 100 students actively participated in the expo and had the opportunity to interact with representatives from international institutions. The event provided valuable information about higher education opportunities in countries such as the UK, UAE, and Malaysia, along with insights into admission procedures, academic programmes, international exposure, and career prospects.

The visit helped students gain a better understanding of global education pathways and explore opportunities for pursuing higher studies abroad. The interaction with international representatives was informative and encouraged students to consider suitable academic and career opportunities beyond India.

The event was coordinated by Prof. Jenisha Jesvita Veigus, Prof. Sanjay Kumar, Prof. Dikshith M. Borkar, and Prof. Nishmitha, with the valuable support of Dr. Shrisha H. S., Head of the Department, CSE, and Dr. Dheeraj Hebri, Training and Placement Officer, SIT. Under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D., Principal, the visit served as a valuable educational enrichment initiative, providing students with exposure to international higher education opportunities, global academic pathways, and diverse career prospects.
