The Department of Marine Engineering, Srinivas Institute of Technology, in association with AIMES, organized a Teachers’ Day Celebration on 10 September 2026.

Dr. Nagaraj Hebbar, Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, was the Chief Guest and was felicitated by the department for his contributions to teaching. Dr. Lokesh V, HOD, Marine Engineering, addressed the students on the importance of teachers and encouraged them to always remember and respect their teachers. The Chief Guest also spoke about the role of teachers in the personal and professional growth of students.

The programme was coordinated by Prof. Vivek V Kumar. Ms. Srishti served as the MC, Ms. Maulya delivered the welcome address, and Mr. Gagan proposed the vote of thanks. All three student coordinators were from the Seventh Semester Marine Engineering.
