Antiragging Cell of the Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru, organized an Anti-Ragging Poster Making Competition from 27th August 2026 to 31st August 2026 as part of the Anti-Ragging Awareness Week.

The programme was co-ordinated by Prof. Sudheendra H N, member antiragging committee, under the guidance of Dr. Lokesh V, College level co-ordinator of the antiragging committee and HOD, Department of Marine Engineering.

The primary objective of the programme was to create awareness among students about the harmful effects and consequences of ragging and to encourage them to uphold the values of respect, discipline, empathy, responsibility, and mutual understanding within the campus and also making use of the online flat form for the positive work.

The program was monitored by Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D., Principal, Srinivas Institute of Technology.

A total of 43 students from the various Engineering branch students, MCA, MBA and BArch were actively participated in the competition.

The opportunity was provided to the students to enhance their creativity and build the skill with the aid of online design tools. Also it created the awareness about seriousness of ragging, its adverse impact on individuals and the institution, and the importance of fostering healthy, respectful, and supportive relationships among peers.
