The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Project Committee, Yukthi Cell, and AADE, organized a technical session titled 'Mastering LaTeX for Impactful Project Report and Documentation' on **8th September 2026 at 3:30 PM** in the **Seminar Hall**.

The programme was conducted with the objective of helping students understand how to prepare their project reports using LaTeX templates. The session was conducted by **Dr. Shrisha H S, Professor and Head, Department of Computer Science & Engineering**, who served as the resource person.

The session began with an introduction to LaTeX and its importance in preparing well-structured and professionally formatted academic project reports. The students were practically taught how to use a LaTeX project report template and how to add and organize their project content within the given format.

The resource person demonstrated the preparation of various components of a project report, including the title page, certificate, declaration, acknowledgement, abstract, table of contents, chapters, sections, figures, tables, and references. Students were also guided on how to edit and customize the template according to their project requirements while maintaining consistent formatting throughout the report.

The session provided students with practical knowledge of using LaTeX for project documentation and helped them understand how a predefined template can make the report preparation process easier, organized, and professional.
