🌟 Seventh Day of Induction Program – Innovation & Personality Development 🌟
The seventh day of the Induction Program was conducted on 9th September 2026 for the newly admitted first-year students. Similar to the previous day's, the sessions were organized in three different slots for Groups 1, 2, and 3 with the objective of introducing students to academic opportunities, discipline, social responsibility, communication skills, youth empowerment, sports, and innovation.
The first session from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM for Group 1 was conducted on the topic “Project/Paper/Patent” by Dr. Lokesh in the College Auditorium. The session introduced students to the importance of undertaking innovative projects, publishing research papers, and understanding the significance of patents. Students were encouraged to develop innovative ideas and actively participate in research and project-based learning during their academic journey.
For Group 2, a session on “Discipline and Anti-Ragging” was conducted by Dr. Suryanarayana and Dr. Lokesh V in the Seminar Hall. The speakers emphasized the importance of discipline, responsible behaviour, mutual respect, and maintaining a healthy academic environment. Students were made aware of the importance of preventing ragging and contributing towards a safe and respectful campus culture.
Meanwhile, Group 3 attended a session on “Basic English” conducted by Mr. Vivek (MR) in Room No. 501. The session focused on improving students' basic communication abilities and developing confidence in using English for academic and professional purposes.
From 11:15 AM to 12:45 PM, Group 1 attended an NSS session conducted by Mr. Rakesh Mallya in the College Auditorium. The session highlighted the importance of social service, community responsibility, teamwork, and active participation in nation-building activities.
During the same session, Group 2 participated in a Youth Empowerment and Skills Session conducted by the members of Art of Living in the Seminar Hall. Mrs. Rajani Rai, Mr. Amarnath Mallya and Dr. Vikas Goutham conducted a session focused on empowering students with positive attitudes, life skills, confidence, and personal development.
For Group 3, a session on Sports was conducted by Dr. Dheeraj H, P&T Officer and Physical Director, in Room No. 501. Students were encouraged to participate in sports and physical activities for maintaining fitness, discipline, teamwork, and overall well-being.
In the afternoon session from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Group 1 attended a session on “Hackathon” conducted by Mr. Shailesh Shetty in the College Auditorium. The session motivated students to explore innovation, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving through technology-based challenges.
For Group 2, a Sports session was conducted from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM by Dr. Dheeraj H, followed by an NSS session from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM conducted by Mr. Rakesh Mallya in the Seminar Hall.
Meanwhile, Group 3 attended a session on “Communication Skills” conducted by Ms. Rashmi in Room No. 501. The session focused on developing effective verbal communication, confidence, interpersonal skills, and presentation abilities.
The day concluded with students gaining valuable exposure to research and innovation, discipline, social responsibility, youth empowerment, physical fitness, communication skills, and teamwork. The sessions contributed significantly towards creating a positive foundation for their academic journey and overall personality development.
