The Department of Master of Business Administration (MBA), Srinivas Institute of Technology, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), organized an outreach programme titled “IdeaSpark – Inspiring Young Innovators & Entrepreneurs” for school children.

The programme was conducted on 7th September 2026 at 2:30 PM at St. Joseph English Medium School, Bajal, Mangalore. The initiative was aimed at introducing young students to the concepts of innovation, creativity, problem-solving, and entrepreneurship in an engaging and practical manner.

The session was attended by 40 students of St. Joseph English Medium School. Prof. Mallika and Prof. Megha conducted an interactive session that encouraged students to share ideas, ask questions, and think creatively. Through simple examples and real-life situations, the students were introduced to innovation, problem-solving, and entrepreneurship.

The students actively participated & encouraged creativity, innovation, teamwork, and confidence, fostering an entrepreneurial mindset among them.

The programme was conducted in the presence of the school authorities and faculty members. The initiative provided an excellent platform for the MBA Department and IIC to connect with school students and nurture an innovation-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset among young learners.
