Logic to Launch – Build Logic Boost Placements

On 03 September 2026, the Department of ISE and CSD organized a placement-oriented pro-gramming activity titled “Logic to Launch – Build Logic Boost Placements.” for the 3rd Semes-ter students of ISE, CSD, and AIDS. The activity aimed to strengthen students’ programming fundamentals, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills required for technical interviews and placement examinations.

The activity focused on solving basic programming problems using C and Python, covering con-cepts such as conditional statements, operators, loops, decision-making, and number manipu-lation. Students were provided with problem statements, sample inputs, and expected outputs and were encouraged to develop solutions in both languages, understand the underlying logic, and test their programs with different inputs.

The activity provided students with practical exposure to placement-oriented coding problems, helping them improve their logical reasoning, coding skills, accuracy, and confidence. It also enabled students to understand how the same problem-solving approach can be implemented in both C and Python. The interactive nature of the activity served as a bridge between classroom programming concepts and their practical application in coding rounds and technical inter-views.

The event was efficiently coordinated by Prof. Aparna N, Event Coordinator, under the guidance of Prof. Sowmya, AISE Advisor, and Prof. Archana D, ACODE Advisor. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal, with the support of Prof. Sudarshan K, HOD, ISE & CSD.

Overall, the activity was successful in engaging students in practical coding practice and strength-ening their logical and problem-solving abilities. It motivated students to approach programming problems with greater confidence and prepared them better for future placement opportunities and technical interviews.
