The Department of Computer Applications, in association with the Alumni Cell, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, organized an inspiring Alumni Interaction Session for MCA students. We were honoured to welcome Mrs. Akshatha Shetty, MCA Alumna (2011–2014), Assistant Professor at St. Agnes College, National Trainer at JCI India, and Chaperone – Global Youth Exchange Program 2025, Vietnam, as the resource person.

The session was organized under the leadership of Dr. Dheeraj Hebri (HOD) and Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D (Principal) and was coordinated by Ms. Anushree ,Assistant Professor. .

Sharing her inspiring journey of pursuing MCA after marriage, overcoming financial challenges, and following her passion, Mrs. Akshatha Shetty encouraged students to dream big, build confidence, create a vision board, and make the best use of the opportunities and resources available to them. She motivated the students with the powerful message: “What you have doesn't matter; what you do with what you have truly matters.”✨
