Intelligent Solutions for a Better Society
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), in association with the YUKTI Cell and the Institution’s Innovation Council, organized a Demo Day on “Intelligent Solutions for a Better Society” on 27th August 2026.
The objective of the event is to provide students with a platform to showcase their innovative ideas, working prototypes and technology-driven solutions aimed at addressing real-world societal challenges. The event aims to encourage students to apply Artificial Intelligence, Electronics, IoT, embedded systems and other emerging technologies to develop practical and socially relevant solutions. It also seeks to connect student innovators with mentors and experts who can provide technical guidance, constructive feedback and support for further development, thereby promoting innovation, entrepreneurship and social impact
The evaluation of the projects was carried out by a panel of mentors who assessed each team based on problem relevance, level of innovation, technical complexity, feasibility, and potential social impact. The event resulted in a highly engaging and informative experience for all participants. It encouraged students to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world problems and fostered a spirit of innovation and creativity. The Demo Day also highlighted the significant role that AI can play in addressing societal challenges and improving quality of life.
