The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), organized a session on “Angel Investment and VC Funding: Exploring Opportunities for Start-Ups” on 28th August 2026 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Room No. 204. The session was delivered by Alwyn Edison Mendonca, Assistant Professor, Department of CSE, who provided insights into angel investment, venture capital (VC) funding, and the opportunities available for start-ups. The session was aimed at creating awareness among participants about funding avenues that can support the growth and development of start-up ventures. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal, Dr. Shrisha H S, Head of the Department (CSE), Dr. Praveen Shenoy, IIC Coordinator, and the Department IIC Coordinators Prof. Harishma K V and Prof. Reshma B, whose support and encouragement contributed to the successful organization of the session.
