The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru, organized an Anti-Ragging Pledge Taking Event on 19 August 2026 with the objective of creating awareness among students about the harmful effects of ragging and promoting a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment. Students actively participated in the pledge and reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining a Ragging-Free Campus. The event was organized by Prof. Preethi, Event Organizer, and coordinated by Prof. Deepthi P Dsouza, Event Coordinator, under the guidance of Dr. Shirsha H S, HOD, CSE, and Dr. Lokesh V, Anti-Ragging College Committee Coordinator. The event was conducted with the support and encouragement of Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal, whose leadership continues to strengthen the institution’s commitment to student safety, dignity, discipline, and a positive learning environment. The event successfully reinforced the message that together, we can build a safe and ragging-free campus.
