EmbedX 6-Hour Hackathon

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering successfully organized the EmbedX 6-Hour Hackathon in association with IIC, STEADY, and TechBots at Srinivas Institute of Technology. The event, held on 21st April 2026, brought together enthusiastic innovators and problem-solvers, with participation from over 45 teams competing across two tracks—Electra (Hardware) and Matrix (Software).

The hackathon was designed around an open-innovation theme, where participants tackled on-the-spot problem statements, showcasing their technical expertise, creativity, and teamwork. The competition was intense, reflecting a high level of innovation and strong execution by all teams.

After rigorous evaluation, the winners were announced as follows:

In the Electra (Hardware) Track, TechBots Vision secured the 1st place, followed by Nexona in 2nd place, while Nexus and Syntax Error jointly achieved 3rd place.

In the Matrix (Software) Track, System Crash emerged as the winner, Decode secured the 2nd position, and Good Fellos claimed the 3rd place.

The event highlighted the importance of collaborative problem-solving and practical implementation skills among students. The organizers congratulated all the winning teams for their outstanding performance and appreciated every participant for contributing to the success and competitive spirit of the hackathon.
