On 13th April 2026, students of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, under the NSS Unit of Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru, organized a heritage visit to Karinjeshwara Temple. The visit began at 9:00 AM, where students enthusiastically participated in this activity aimed at exploring cultural heritage. The climb to the temple was an exciting experience, offering beautiful scenic views and a refreshing break from routine academic life. The presence of monkeys along the way made the journey even more lively and memorable for everyone.

The activity was coordinated by Activity coordinator Prof. Nithya B P , who accompanied and guided the students throughout the visit. the programme was conducted with the support of Principal Dr. Shrinivas Mayya D, HOD Daya Naik, College NSS Coordinator Rakesh Mallya, and Department NSS Coordinator Madhusudan Sir. Overall, the visit was a meaningful and enjoyable experience, allowing students to connect with nature, appreciate cultural heritage, and create lasting memories together.
