The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, in association with STEADY, organized a session titled “Tips for Your Career” on December 22, 2025. The session was delivered by Mr. Karthik, Senior Analyst at Concentronics, Bangalore, who is an alumnus of the SIT ECE Department and a 2022 graduate. The session was addressed to 3rd semester ECE students with the objective of guiding them on career planning and industry expectations. During his interaction, Mr. Karthik emphasized the importance of building strong fundamentals in Electronics and gaining proficiency in at least one programming language.

He advised students to focus on consistent learning and developing a strong academic foundation, highlighting that a good CGPA plays a crucial role in securing entry-level job opportunities. He also stressed the importance of effective communication skills and confident self-presentation during interviews, stating that the ability to introduce oneself confidently for at least two minutes significantly increases the chances of selection.

The session successfully motivated students to focus on academic excellence, skill development, and confidence building, thereby enhancing their awareness of industry requirements and preparing them for future career opportunities.
