The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), in association with the YUKTI Cell, EDP cell and the Institution’s Innovation Council, organized “A Demo Day On -AI Powered Solutions for Societal Issues” on 11th April 2026. The event aimed to highlight how modern technologies can be used effectively to address challenges faced by society in areas such as healthcare, agriculture, environmental sustainability, and public safety. A total of 14 teams participated in the event, each presenting unique and impactful AI-based solutions. The event aimed to promote innovation, encourage practical application of AI, and provide a platform for students to demonstrate their technical and problem-solving skills. Teams utilized technologies such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and IoT, along with platforms like Raspberry Pi and mobile applications.The projects were evaluated based on innovation, feasibility, technical implementation, and societal impact. The Demo Day successfully highlighted the importance of AI in solving societal challenges and encouraged students to develop impactful and practical solutions for real-world problems.
