The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and the Department of Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS), in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and the Entrepreneurship Development and Incubation Cell (EDP Cell), organized a one-day workshop titled “AI Builders Day” on December 09, 2025. The workshop was exclusively arranged for 3rd-semester students of all branches, and a total of 450 students from different engineering branches participated in the program. The workshop was conducted in morning and afternoon sessions to ensure effective participation and engagement.

The sessions were led by Mr. Sarthak Jain and Ms. Shiwangi Sharma from ID8NXT and ID8DEVHUB, who provided valuable insights into the fundamentals and real-world applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Mr. Sarthak Jain explained the overall impact of AI across various industries and demonstrated the development of AI agents for automation and intelligent decision-making, while Ms. Shiwangi Sharma highlighted practical tools and innovation pathways in AI development.

The objective of the workshop was to create awareness among students about the fundamentals and industrial relevance of Artificial Intelligence. It also aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations by exposing students to emerging AI technologies and applications.

Students gained a clear understanding of the role of Artificial Intelligence and AI agents in solving real-world problems. The workshop enhanced students’ interest in AI-based projects, innovation, and entrepreneurial opportunities.

The “AI Builders Day” workshop was informative and well received by the participants, providing early exposure to industry-relevant AI concepts. The event successfully promoted an innovation-driven mindset among students in alignment with the objectives of IIC and EDP Cell.
