The Department of MCA, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangalore organized the Inaugural

Function of MASM (Master of Computer Application Students’ Association) on 9th December

2025 at the Seminar Hall. The programme began at 9:00 AM with a warm welcome address by

Ms. Saniha Mohan, MASM President, followed by the introduction of the Chief Guest by Likitha.

Dr. Shashidhar Kini K, HOD-MCA, highlighted the department’s achievements, ongoing

activities, and opportunities for students. The Chief Guest, Mr. Chandan Raj G, Technology

Analyst at Infosys, delivered an inspiring talk on industry expectations, emerging trends, and

essential IT skills.

Following this, Principal & President Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D shared his insights on future

opportunities, educational growth, and the importance of continuous learning. The official

inauguration of MASM was then declared, followed by the introduction of committee members

and upcoming association activities. A memento was presented to the Chief Guest as a token of appreciation, and the programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Vishak, marking a

successful and motivating beginning to MASM activities for the academic year.
