The Departments of Mechanical Engineering associates with Dept of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Business Studies, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Aeronautical, Automobile and Marine Engineering, Srinivas Institute of Technology, organized an informative session titled “Effective Strategies to get Recruited in Indian Army” in association with the Alumni Cell, EDP Cell, IIC, and IIIC on 14 February 2026.

The session was delivered by the Resource Person, Mr. Monik Gowda, Founder of LEO Armed Forces Training Institute. The talk focused on various career opportunities in the Indian Army, eligibility criteria, selection procedures, physical and mental preparation strategies, and the importance of discipline and dedication in defines services. Mr. Monik Gowda shared practical insights and real-life experiences, motivating students to pursue a career in the Indian Army.

The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of various departments. An interactive question-and-answer session helped clarify doubts related to recruitment processes, training requirements, and career growth in the Indian Army.

Overall, the session was highly informative and inspiring, providing valuable guidance and motivation to students aspiring to serve the nation through the Indian Army.
