The Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Marine Engineering, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, Mangaluru, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), EDP Cell, Start-up and Incubation Cell, and III Cell, organized an expert session titled “AI Innovation Sprint: Transforming Ideas into Impact” on 16 February 2025 at 02:00 PM in M101.

The session was conducted with the objective of encouraging innovation-driven thinking among students and promoting the practical application of Artificial Intelligence to transform ideas into impactful solutions. The program aimed to bridge the gap between conceptual understanding and real-world implementation by motivating students to innovate, build, and create meaningful technological solutions. The Resource Person for the session was Mr. Aditya Madhukar Bhat, Director, Swizosoft (OPC) Private Limited, Ankola. He delivered an insightful and inspiring talk on the theme “From Concept to Creation – Innovate • Build • Impact.” During his session, he emphasized the importance of innovation, startup culture, and AI-driven product development. He shared practical insights on transforming ideas into viable technological solutions, building scalable AI systems, and creating sustainable impact through entrepreneurship and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The program was successfully conducted under the guidance of Prof. Sandesh K S, ASMA Coordinator; Prof. Sunil Prakash R, Event Coordinator; Dr. Praveen Shenoy, IIC Coordinator; Dr. Raghavendra M J, IA-IIC; Dr. Lokesh V, Head of the Department; Dr. Shankar K S, Head of the Department; and Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru.

The program concluded with a formal vote of thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to the management, the resource person, coordinators, faculty members, and students for their valuable support and participation. The event successfully reinforced the institution’s commitment toward fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology-driven development in alignment with the objectives of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC).
