This enrichment session on communication skills for engineers was an eye opening and practical experience for the whole class. Mrs Rashmi ma’am from the department of MBA visited our classroom and spoke in a very simple, relatable way that connected well with us. She focused not only on what we say, but also on how we present ourselves in front of others, especially in formal situations like interviews and presentations.

She explained that in an interview every small detail matters the way we walk into the room,how we sit, our facial expressions, and even the way we greet the interviewer. She showed us how to walk with confidence, maintain good posture, and enter the room calmly instead of rushing or appearing nervous. She reminded us that communication is not only just answering questions but also listening carefully, responding respectfully and showing respect through our actions. Overall, the session helped us understand that good communication is a complete package of words, expressions and behavior and it plays a major role in shaping our future as engineers.
