Next-Gen Intelligence: Student Innovations in AI
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), organized a project presentation event titled “Next-Gen Intelligence: Student Innovations in AI” on 07 February 2026 at 9:30 AM in the Seminar Hall as part of its academic and innovation-driven initiatives. The program began with a welcome address by Rakshitha and the projects were evaluated by Dr. Jithendra P. R. Nayak, Associate Professor, Department of CSE, who provided constructive feedback on the 12 innovative AI and ML projects presented by student teams. The event was graced by Prof. Daya Naik, Head of the Department (AIML), and Dr. Parvathraj K. M. M, Event Coordinator, whose presence motivated and encouraged the participants. Students showcased strong creativity, technical competence, and problem-solving skills, making the session highly interactive and insightful. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Amrutha of 6th semester AIML and ended with enthusiasm and a spirit of innovation. The initiative supports SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by promoting innovation-driven learning, technological problem-solving, and institutional collaboration, and it also served as an official HEI Pre-Summit Engagement activity under MIC-AICTE: IndiaAI Impact Summit 2026.
