On October 4, 2025, under the Institute’s Innovation Cell (IIC), the Departments of Information Science and Engineering (ISE) and Computer Science and Design (CSD), in association with the Association of Information Science and Engineering (AISE) and the Association of Computer Science and Design Engineering (ACODE), organized a hands-on workshop for 3rd-semester students titled “CodeXplore: Igniting Innovation through Web Tech”. The workshop was conducted by 5th-semester student Prajwal, with support from fellow students Ishwarya, Deena, and Rakshitha K, focusing on HTML, CSS, and other front-end development technologies.

During the session, the participants were introduced to the fundamentals of front-end web development, including structuring web pages with HTML, styling with CSS, and creating interactive and visually appealing interfaces. The workshop emphasized practical learning, allowing students to apply the concepts in real-time.

At the conclusion of the workshop, Prajwal provided a problem statement that required the students to develop a functional front-end design for a website. This exercise encouraged the participants to consolidate their learning and demonstrate their understanding of the front-end development process.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from 3rd-semester students, who actively engaged in coding, collaboration, and problem-solving throughout the session. The workshop was coordinated under the guidance of Prof. Sudarshan K., Head of the Departments of ISE and CSD, with support from Ms. Aparna N., Faculty Coordinator, and mentorship from Prof. Sowmya, Staff Advisor, AISE, and Prof. Archana D., Staff Advisor, ACODE. Their guidance ensured the smooth execution and overall success of the workshop.

The session proved to be highly beneficial, equipping students with practical skills in front-end web development, fostering collaboration, and providing hands-on experience in designing and implementing website interfaces.
