The Department of AIML organized a session titled “Innovation to Ownership: Understanding IPR Basics” on 27th November 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The session was delivered by Dr. Naveen Kumar J. R., Associate Professor & Head, Dept. of ECE, Srinivas University, who explained the fundamentals of Intellectual Property Rights and the importance of protecting innovative ideas.

Students were introduced to patents, copyrights, trademarks and the process of securing ownership for creative work. The talk helped participants understand how IPR supports research, product development and entrepreneurship.

The session was graced by the faculty members of department of AIML and head of the department Prof.,Daya Naik

The session was completed successfully with active participation and increased awareness on idea protection and intellectual ownership among students.
