The Department of Marine Engineering & IIC, in association with AIMES and NSS, organized a program titled “Celebrating the Spirit of Our Constitution” on 26th November 2025. Dr. Lokesh V, Head of Marine Engineering, delivered an insightful address on the evolution of the Indian Constitution, its key components—Fundamental Rights, Directive Principles, and Fundamental Duties—and the importance of constitutional morality. He emphasized the role of engineers in nation-building through integrity, equality, and responsible professional conduct.

As part of the observance, faculty and students participated in the formal Preamble reading, reaffirming their commitment to constitutional values. The event was efficiently coordinated by Prof. Vivek V Kumar (AIMES Coordinator) and Prof. Chandra Jogi (NSS Coordinator) with support from AIMES members. The program successfully strengthened awareness of constitutional principles among the students.
