TWO WHEELER SERVICE CAMP

The Department of Automobile Engineering of Srinivas Institute of Technology, in association with the Automobile & Aeronautical Association (AMARA), successfully organized the Two-Wheeler Service Camp 2K25 on 27 November 2025 at the college Automobile Workshop. The event was conducted in collaboration with Sri Durga Motors.

The inaugural programme commenced at 9:30 AM with the participation of students, faculty members, and dignitaries. The event was presided over by Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal, Srinivas Institute of Technology. In his address, he emphasized the importance of hands-on learning and appreciated the initiative for bridging academic learning with real-time technical exposure.

Following this, Dr. Sandesh Kumar Rai, Head of the Department of Automobile Engineering, addressed the gathering. He highlighted the relevance of such technical service camps in developing practical competence and industry readiness among students.

Sri Vignesh Acharya, Proprietor of Sri Durga Motors, was invited as a special guest for the occasion. He shared his professional experiences and provided valuable insights into modern two-wheeler maintenance trends, industry expectations, and skill development.

Mr. Charan, a 7th semester student, extended a warm welcome to the gathering, while Mr. Pratham H, from the 5th semester, delivered the vote of thanks. Ms. Bhavyashree, a 5th semester student, served as the master of ceremonies.

The programme was coordinated by Mr. Prakash S. T. and Mr. Varun N., Faculty Coordinators, along with student coordinators Charan and Nikhil V. C., who played an active role in planning and organizing the event. Over 50 students actively participated in the workshop, servicing more than 24 two-wheelers. This workshop helped students to understand the basic check points required in general service and other maintenance viz., brake service, oil change, body water service of two wheelers.

The workshop was successfully completed with the support of HODs & faculties of Automobile & Aeronautical Department, Principal and the Management.
