An Enrichment Program on “Startup and Innovation” was organized by the Physics Cycle of Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, Mangaluru, on 27th October 2025 at 3:00 PM in Room AR201. The session was conducted by Mr. Shailesh Shetty, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Business. The program aimed to inspire first-year students to explore innovative ideas and understand the fundamentals of entrepreneurship.

The event began with anchoring by Kethan, followed by a welcome speech by Swamy. Sudharshan introduced the resource person and highlighted his professional achievements. The poster for the event was designed by Yatish, and Sanju managed photography and documentation. The resource person, Mr. Shailesh Shetty, shared real-life examples of successful startups and discussed the challenges and opportunities in the innovation ecosystem. He emphasized the importance of teamwork, creativity, and persistence in achieving success. Students actively participated and clarified their doubts regarding startup ideas, funding, and execution.

The enrichment program on “Startup and Innovation” successfully met its objectives by motivating students to think innovatively and develop an entrepreneurial outlook. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, extending gratitude to the management, principal, faculty members, and the resource person for their support and encouragement.
