On 9th October 2026, under the Institute’s Innovation Cell, the Department of ISE & CSD, in organized an event titled “AI Startup Pitch” at Room No. 404. The event focused on encouraging students to Identify a campus or community problem and pitch an AI-enabled solution supported by a simple prototype or mock-up.

The event began with an introduction to the concept of Startup Pitch by defining the problem, intended users, and proposed solution. It also focused on Use of AI tools to support research, ideation, interface design, or prototyping.

The students focused on Building the mockups or wireframes using rapid prototyping tools and AI Tech Lead Prompts, AI tools to generate sample data, code snippets, or system architecture logic.

The best presentation was judged by the judges based on the overall quality and presentation of the prototypes and prizes were awarded to the deserving participants.

The event was supported by Prof. Sudarshan K, HOD, ISE & CSD, and coordinated by Prof. Chaitra K, Event Coordinator, and Student coordinators Trupti Shetty and N S Sanjana assisted in the successful conduct of the event.
