The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Srinivas Institute of Technology, in association with STEADY and the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC), organized a workshop titled "Using AI for Fundraising & Investor Pitch Preparation" on 29th July 2026.

The session was conducted by Dr. Vinayak V. Rao, Professor, Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AIDS), Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, Mangalore. The workshop aimed to introduce students and aspiring entrepreneurs to the effective use of Artificial Intelligence in developing compelling fundraising strategies and preparing impactful investor pitches.

Dr. Vinayak V. Rao explained how AI-powered tools can assist startups in refining business ideas, identifying potential investors, preparing business proposals, generating financial projections, and creating persuasive pitch decks. He also demonstrated practical AI applications for market analysis, competitor research, customer profiling, and presentation enhancement. He emphasized the importance of combining AI-generated insights with human creativity and strategic thinking to produce convincing investor presentations.

The workshop significantly enhanced participants' awareness of AI-driven entrepreneurship and provided practical knowledge that can be applied in startup development and innovation projects. Students appreciated the real-world examples during the session.
