On 25th July 2026, the Department of Information Science and Engineering (ISE), the Department of Master of Business Administration (MBA), and the Department of Computer Science and Design (CSD), in association with the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) and Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP), organized an expert talk titled "From Idea to Viable Business: Prototype Validation, Value Proposition Fit, and Business Fit." The session was held in Room No. 406 at 10:00 AM.

The session was delivered by Mrs. Supriya Manoj Shetty, Managing Director, Cars Adda Finance House, Mangalore. She shared her entrepreneurial journey, explaining how she started her business, the challenges she faced, and the importance of confidence, perseverance, and strategic planning in building a successful business.

The resource person discussed the significance of Prototype Validation, Value Proposition Fit, and Business Fit, emphasizing the need to understand customer requirements, validate ideas before implementation, and develop sustainable business models. Through practical examples from her own experience, she inspired students to pursue entrepreneurship with confidence and determination.

The session concluded with an engaging Question-and-Answer session, where students actively interacted with the speaker by asking questions about startups, business management, and entrepreneurship. Mrs. Supriya Manoj Shetty answered all the queries with practical insights, making the session highly interactive and informative.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal, with the support of Prof. Sudarshan K, HOD, ISE & CSD, Dr. Veena Santhosh Rai, HOD, MBA, and Dr. Praveen Shenoy, IIC Coordinator.
