Workshop: Using AI for Fundraising and Investor Pitch Preparation

The Department of MCA, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), successfully organized a Workshop: Using AI for Fundraising & Investor Pitch Preparation on 07th July at M-402. The workshop introduced students to the role of AI in developing effective investor pitches, refining business ideas, analyzing market opportunities, and enhancing fundraising strategies.

The program began with a welcome address by Ms. Ananya Kedila, Event Coordinator, who emphasized the importance of AI in entrepreneurship. The session highlighted how AI can support fundraising and investor pitch preparation by improving presentations, refining business ideas, and enhancing communication and analytical skills.

Ms. K. Vaishnavi Rao from the Department of Information Science and Engineering addressed the gathering and explained the growing role of AI in fundraising and investor pitch preparation. The session highlighted how AI can support market research, identify funding opportunities, generate financial insights, and help create professional pitch decks. She also emphasized the importance of clearly presenting the problem, solution, target audience, and value proposition and encouraged students to use AI responsibly to improve their creativity, communication, and decision-making skills.

Students actively participated in the workshop by exploring AI tools for fundraising and investor pitch preparation. They learned to develop pitch decks, analyze business opportunities, and create effective presentations. The workshop concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation, enhancing students' digital skills, analytical thinking, and confidence in using AI for academic and entrepreneurial growth.

The event was successfully organized under the valuable guidance and support of Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal; Dr. Shashidhar Kini K, Head of the Department of MCA; Dr. Praveen Shenoy K, IIC Coordinator; and Ms. Ananya Kedila, Event Coordinator, whose encouragement and support contributed significantly to the success of the program.

The workshop received an enthusiastic response from students, who actively explored AI tools for fundraising and investor pitch preparation. It provided practical knowledge on creating effective presentations and concluded by encouraging students to use AI responsibly for academic, professional, and entrepreneurial growth.
