The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and the Department of Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS), in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), organized an expert session on “Start-Up Legal and Ethical Steps” on 22nd May 2026 at 11:00 AM. The session aimed to create awareness among students about the legal, regulatory, and ethical aspects involved in establishing and managing a start-up successfully. The report format and style have been prepared with reference to the sample report provided.

The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal, Dr. Suresha D, Head of the Department (CSE), Prof. Shailesh Shetty, Head of the Department (CSBS), Dr. Praveen Shenoy, IIC Coordinator, and the Department IIC Coordinators Prof. Harishma K V, Prof. Reshma B (CSE), and Prof. Pratheeksha B R (CSBS). Their continuous support and encouragement contributed significantly to the successful organization of the programme.
