The Department of Marine Engineering, Srinivas Institute of Technology, successfully organized the AIMES Valedictory and Farewell Ceremony “VOYAGE – Sail Beyond-Leave a Legacy.” on 21 May 2026. The Principal, Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D., presided over the function and addressed the gathering. He distributed prizes and certificates to the winners and association members and congratulated AIMES and the Department of Marine Engineering for their commendable work and active student involvement. He also conveyed his best wishes to the outgoing students for their future endeavors.

Dr. Lokesh V., Head of the Department of Marine Engineering, appreciated the efforts of the students, faculty members, and AIMES association in successfully conducting various activities throughout the academic year and encouraged the students to continue their teamwork and dedication.

During the programme, the AIMES annual report was presented by the Faculty Coordinator, Mr. Vivek Vijay Kumar, highlighting the technical, cultural, academic, and co-curricular activities organized during the year. Prize distribution for various competitions and certificate distribution to association members were also conducted during the event.

The release of the department magazine “Atlantis” and the release of project abstracts were among the major highlights of the programme.

The programme commenced with an invocation rendered by Ms. Greeshma M.D., Mr. Deeksharaj T.N., Mr. Alphy A. Wilson, and Mr. Victor S.N., followed by the welcome address by Mr. Sravan J., AIMES President. The programme was gracefully compered by Mr. Dhanush and Mr. Deeksharaj, who efficiently coordinated the event. The event concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Sanjana S. Kotian.
