The Department of MCA in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and YUKTI Cell of Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, Mangaluru, organized an IoT Exhibition on 19th November 2025 at M-401, commencing at 9:30 AM.

The objective of the exhibition was to encourage students to showcase innovative ideas and practical applications of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. The event provided a platform for students to demonstrate their creativity, technical knowledge, and problem-solving abilities by presenting IoT-based models and prototypes addressing real-world challenges.

Students from the Department of MCA actively participated in the exhibition by presenting various IoT projects that illustrated the use of sensors, microcontrollers, and software applications to create intelligent systems. The projects focused on areas such as smart automation, environmental monitoring, and technology-driven solutions, highlighting the potential of IoT in improving efficiency and sustainability in everyday life.

The exhibition enabled students to gain hands-on experience in designing and implementing IoT solutions, while also improving their presentation and technical communication skills. Faculty members and students interacted with the project teams, discussing the working principles, design methodology, and possible real-world applications of the projects.

The event was successfully coordinated by Prof. Swapnil Pai (Department IIC Coordinator) along with Prof. Rajesh Naik (MASM Coordinator) and Dr. Praveen Shenoy (IIC Coordinator), with the support of faculty members of the Department of MCA.

The exhibition received an enthusiastic response from the students, who appreciated the opportunity to present their innovative ideas and explore emerging technologies in the field of IoT. The event successfully promoted innovation, creativity, and practical learning among students, aligning with the objectives of the Institution’s Innovation Council.

The program concluded with appreciation for all the participants and organizers who contributed to the success of the exhibition. The event effectively encouraged students to explore technology-driven solutions and innovative thinking for real-world applications.
